LAKE LIFE WKND 015 EXPO special with Dan about LREC, renewable energy and their electric service infrastructure in Lakes Country.

Hear local event updates for this upcoming wknd and an interview we recorded at the Explore Lake Life Expo held from Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Civic Center in downtown Fargo. Dan works with the Lake Region Electric Cooperative which is a membership based electric energy provider based out of Pelican Rapids.

The cooperative averages 4.6 members per mile in a 3,200 square mile service territory. They own and maintain 5,600 miles of line. Their vision is to lead, empower, and guide members to use energy wisely to secure a better future for our families, our communities, and our world.

The coop's mission is to provide members with safe, reliable, affordable electricity, and lead by offering innovative services to grow the cooperative.
