LAKE LIFE WKND 024 we interviewed Holly and Dante about their invention called Zebra Shield. It is a coating which protects any waterfront equipment and everything under water against invasive Zebra Mussels. Dante Battocchi is a research scientist at NDSU for coatings and while he spent some time at the lake with friends 5 years ago he was challenged to find a solution against Zebra Mussels. He went back into his lab and and later invented a coating called "Zebra shield". Today the product has been made available to consumers to purchase and protect their docks and lifts at the lake.
