LAKE LIFE WKND 041 We like to share another podcast portrait with you. In this episode we interviewed Jack Chivers. Jack moved to Lakes Country in 1966 and has been growing a local Real Estate business since. He lives and loves Lake Life and has fulfilled many people's dream to live on a lake in our area.

Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA, Jack wanted to see the world. After joining the Navy, serving his country and sailing all seven seas, his path led him to Minnesota, where he immediately became enamored with Lake Life.

Detroit Lakes became his home and Jack began working as a full-time real estate agent on April 1, 1966. His career started at Calhoun Realty, based in Minneapolis, where he worked for the following 13 years selling commercial properties and found his residential niche as a lakes expert for many of his clients. Jack always shared his passion about Detroit Lakes and Lakes Country, saying: Don't just visit... live it! On June 2, 1980, Jack founded his own agency Jack Chivers Realty in Detroit Lakes.
